Organic Edge Walnut Dining Table with Blackened-Ash Base
A mix of Modern and Japanese design the Magnolia table features blackened-ash, exposed joinery, and semi-live edge walnut. Full slab tables oftentimes warp and cup overtime. To avoid this we diligently source a Flitch of boards (sequentially milled boards) from the same Boule of lumber to match color and grain. We then join and glue them leaving the organic edge intact along the outer boards. The base is constructed with hand-cut joinery from quarter-sawn oak that is then blackened and oiled.
